Dear Miss Six,
Happy sixth birthday beautiful girl.
It seems like we were just celebrating your fifth birthday at your Frozen party, but here we are again, and you are six! Pick up sticks! {I know how much you love a rhyme}
And what a year you have had!
You started school this year, and it’s so wonderful to see you spread your wings. You’ve made some lovely new friends, you love reading and learn all your sight words so quickly. You have an amazing memory which will no doubt serve you well in life.
You are just thriving and keeping us busy with play dates, swimming, ballet lessons, birthday parties and lots of craft projects. You could do craft for hours. Your imagination is incredible and we love watching you create with so much concentration and focus.
You’ve lost 2 teeth and have another wobbly up the top.
And you’re a sneaky little Miss. Lately you’ve been sneaking lollies from the top shelf in the pantry and sharing them with your little brother. Yep, you have mumma’s sweet tooth, but at least you share
Even though its winter, you insist on wearing your summer dresses everywhere. You really are a girly girl, but I love how you can be a total princess and the next minute be wrestling with your little brother. You just adore the little guy and although you two do fight, you really are besties.

Skipping is one of your favourite things to do. You still skip everywhere and I hate to see the day you no longer do, because it will mean our little girl has grown up. Thankfully we are a while off that yet.
You are loyal, lovable, funny, sweet as pie, cheeky and your giggle can light up a room.
You love your joke books at the moment, {especially knock knock jokes} and magic tricks and beanie boo toys, and all you want for your birthday is a real mermaid tail so you can swim like Ariel.
So my little lady, enjoy your craft party and keep skipping through six and lighting up our world so brightly.
We simply adore you!
Love Mumma xx

What a wonderful tribute to a gorgeous girl! you have stunning kids, I bet you can’t take your camera lens off them? My girl is seven and I’ve been enjoying the school years.. but so many questions eeek.
I’m also quite shocked how fast we went from the Frozen- frenzy into Monster High, that was a seismic shift to knocked me over.. and her fashion style has changed along with that too. Gothic, really?
Everything must be grown-up, ‘babyish’ is to be avoided and NOT discussed! EVER!
‘Muuuuum! dont tell people I used to like THAT!’
I think I’m about a heartbeat away from ‘youre-so-embarrassing’.
oh my gosh. Does it really happen that quickly!? wow! I’m not ready for that yet!
Thank you so much for your lovely comments and for popping by! xx
What a beautiful post Shannon! Your Miss 6 and my Miss 6 have so much in common!
