The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #29

URH tiny

Happy Saturday Everyone and Happy August!

So I’m calling this week ‘The catch up’. I feel like I’m getting on top of things on the home front finally {apart from a bout of mild food poisoning} and we have no kids parties or big week end plans which is bliss! I’m hoping the lawns get some attention, it’s starting to look like a jungle out there. Huz take note!

I’ve also been doing lots of reading and The Bachelor is back on our screens… ahh, all is right with the world. So let’s jump straight into this week’s link love…

Starting with The Bachelor, half the reason I tune in is for the fashion, so I loved this post from the gorgeous Shannon @ Forty Up,  sharing her top 5 best dressed from week 1. Snezana takes the gold I reckon!

This letter your teenager can’t write you was quite powerful. I’ll be bookmarking this for reading in about 10 years time!

How gorgeous is this DIY copper clothes rack!

How’s your fuse? Short like mine lately? Dr Sash from the left field has you sorted.

And finally, I loved sharing Karin from Calm to Conniption’s sweet story as part of my Show & Tell series this week. Nanna’s are so special aren’t they!

Now for the Ultimate Rabbit Hole! Here’s how it works…

  • It opens Every Saturday morning
  • Bloggers can add their link list posts or just their favourite post of the week
  • Pop by and say hello to the other lovely linkers and leave them some comment love.
  • You can link up here, or visit my awesome co-hosts, Karin at Calm to Conniption, Jess at A little Part of the World or Sam at The Annoyed Thyroid. It doesn’t matter where you add your link, it will appear on all four blogs, as if by magic!
  • The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday.

  1. I love your Show and Tell series and Dr Sash’s post was a cracker. It seems that I’m the only person in Australia who is not watching the Bachelor but it’s ok because I’m still getting over the end of Masterchef! I hope you’re feeling loads better and have a fab weekend x

    1. I’m hooked already Vicki! And I love reading Rosie Waterland’s Bachelor recaps. Hilarious. HOpe your wk end is fab too lovely xx

  2. You got a Bachie fan in me! I find it compulsive viewing, and love Rosie Waterland’s recaps. So, so funny! How amazing is that teenager letter. While i haven’t experienced anything like she has written {and hope I don’t have to}, I’m certainly living with a Miss Teen who is changing, and growing, and finding where she really fits in. I will always hold the other end of the rope. And how clever is the DIY copper clothes rack. So simple. Food poisoning is no fun. Hope you’re feeling better lovely. x

    1. Thanks lovely. I’m on the mend now and almost ready for a wine! Almost ;)
I love Rosie’s recaps… they are actually better than the actual show!
Good on you always holding the other end of the rope… I have no idea how I’m going to navigate the teen years!
HOpe your wk end is fab too! xx

    1. I loved the blue & white pretties! And you are right… Bachelor is a little like watching a car crash. Hope your wk end was fabulous. xx
