The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #48

Ultimate Rabbit Hole

Greetings All,

I hope you’ve had a great week! I enjoyed a much needed day off, without kids! I managed to get all my Christmas shopping done, walked the dog, did 2 loads of washing, took the dog to the vet, cleaned the house, did some grocery shopping, cooked dinner and fitted in a quick massage! I’m totally winning at this Christmas thing!

On a not so good note, my dad found out this week that he has melanoma which has completely shaken our world. It’s early days thankfully but he’s not yet out of the woods and recovering from surgery he had this week. I’m telling you this as a reminder to slip, slop, slap & wrap this summer and please go and have a skin cancer check! I know I’ll certainly be wearing a hat more often and covering my shoulders and of course, slathering myself and my2morrows in sunscreen as I always do anyway.

Anyway, that’s my mothering done for now… before we jump into this weeks fab links, how cute is Ellie the bunny in the pic above! Thanks Ingrid from Fabulous & Fun Life for sharing her with us. She is just too cute! Now onto this weekend’s links…

It won’t be long before we see back to school stuff hit the stores and if like me, you are obsessed with finding THE perfect lunchbox then Kylie from Kidgredients can help with the great 2015 lunch box review.

It’s almost 2016! Ahh!!  so if you are yet to get organised, Fleur from Our Urban Box has you sorted with these 10 Printable calendars.

If you’re after an easy Christmas recipe, this Christmas Kit Kat Cake from Kirsten & Co looks so good and not too hard. My kinda recipe!

I love the idea of a Christmas Bucket List like this one from Babs over at Mumtastic. We kinda have one without realising it! A great reminder to find the time to make memories amongst the chaos and Christmas Craziness!

The gorgeous Shannon from Forty Up has compiled a list of 10 of the Best Christmas Blog posts for your reading enjoyment. Some awesome stuff here!

And finally, speaking of Christmas… if you missed it, my 5 Favourite Christmas Albums and Playlists post is your one stop shop for all your Christmas tunes!

What’s your favourite Christmas Carol or Album? Are you as fussy as I am with lunch boxes? What’s on your Christmas bucket list?
