10 Cadbury Creme Egg Recipes

10 Cadbury Creme Recipes

The best thing about Easter, besides four whole days off… the delicious chocolately gooey goodness of Cadbury Cream Eggs!

My friend Jo and I are a bit obsessed with them. One year we had a Cadbury cream egg-off in the lead up to Easter, to see who could eat the most Cadbury cream eggs. I can’t recall who actually won, I think we both lost count, but between us we must have consumed hundreds of them!

These days we’re a little more health conscious, but that doesn’t stop us from tagging each other and sending each other the most ridiculous Cadbury Cream Egg recipes. I’ve never actually attempted any of them, but who knows, maybe this is the year?

So I thought I’d share a round up of recipes featuring Cadbury creme eggs for those who are as obsessed as I am. {Hello Jo!} Remember, its Easter time… calories don’t count!

  1. Wow. I didn’t realise how creative people get with their crème eggs. I actually don’t like them, but if they are baked in something, I will eat them. This is a great post to bookmark if you get given a crap load of them and need to work out what to do with them all!

    1. I’m secretly hoping the Easter bunny brings me a crap load of them Bec so I can actually attempt some of these recipes! Thanks for hopping on by ;)

  2. Ok I am going out on a limb here but am I the only person in the land that doesn’t like Cadbury Creme Eggs? Don’t get me wrong I LOVE chocolate and I love chocolate with fillings like strawberry, pineapple, orange, peppermint, caramel. Sadly, there is something for me that simply can’t even bring myself to try a Creme Egg. I think it has to do with my distinct aversion to runny whites in cooked real eggs so it is a sensory thing I think … But on the upside I have a chocolate addiction so the fact that I can’t bring myself to eat Creme Eggs there are more for you all.

    1. Don’t the kids just get so spoilt at Easter… way too much chocolate… I’ll be rationing it until Christmas!
      xx

  3. Holy smokes!!!! For someone that has “cut out sugar” but likes to have the occasional indulge – I think I could seriously face dive into that cheesecake!!! haha! I always go off chocolate this time of year. Think its the March mugginess! Common Winter!! Great treats there Shannon xx

  4. Desist immediately… these look too good, especially the deep fried one. Creme eggs were the highlight of my year when I was a wee girl in Scotland… and there were others called Borders Creme Eggs which had chocolate fondant inside. In my old age, all Creme eggs seem very small… Anyway, I’m amazed by the ingenuity of these bakers – so clever.

Off to hunt down some chocolate!

  5. Oh em gee!!!! Can I get a piece of everything please! I love Creme Eggs and shamelessy have yet to try the Mcflurry from McDs – it’s on my do list this week :) now I want a Creme egg. Great round up Shannon. Happy Easter to you.

    1. Thanks lovely. I’m yet to try the McFlurry too. Maybe this wk end. Let me know what you think if you do try one. xx

  6. I am not sure where to even begin with this amazing post. The Rocky Road, the Cheesecakes, the Brownies. Just love a recipe round up like this – especially because I am basically too lazy to go and search for them myself. Lol. Thank you for list. xx
