The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #37

ultimate rabbit hole

Hello Hello from wintery Sydney!

Wtf is going on with this weather?! Just as I had put the winter coat away, I had to get it out again.

Good thing I’m off to Darwin this week for work to soak up some heat. Bring it!

In other news, Miss 6 finally lost her front top tooth that has been wobbly for months and thankfully the Tooth Fairy stayed off the wines and remembered to visit! Winning!

Lots of good stuff around the web this week….

I’m seeing this half tuck technique everywhere and loving it!

This is freakin genius!

This evolution of the desk is super cool.

I’ll be trying my best this week to implement these tips to avoid eating  junk food while travelling from Carly at Smaggle.  Wish me luck.

I LOVED these  inspirational quotes from magical children’s books because “A children’s story that can only be enjoyed by children is not a good children’s story in the slightest.”  ~ C. S. Lewis.

And thanks Jade from Little Paper Lane for drawing my attention to this perfection.

Have you had a Spring Winter snap where you live too? What’s your fave inspirational quote from children’s books?

  1. So much inspirational goodness in those children’s books. “Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?” ~ J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter. For someone that lives inside my head a lot of the time, that one makes me smile.

  2. Oh I love that CS Lewis quote Shannon. By far my favourite kids books to read the are the ones that are clever and entertaining for grown ups too.
Enjoy Darwin. We’re off to Far Nth Qld tomorrow – yippee! Of course we’ve finally got some glorious weather in Ballarat now that we’re leaving

  3. Those finger spoons were just genius! I loved all those quotes but I think my favourite is Pooh’s “you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” Remember my friend Lana who ran the Disneyland Half Marathon? She had a really cool Pooh inspired outfit and this quote was printed upon it. Pooh knows what’s what! Here’s to a week of warm weather next week!

    1. That is so cool re Lana’s outfit! Super inspiring. And yes, the Pooh quotes are classics arent they! Hope you have a fab week lovely xx
