The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #60

Ultimate rabbit hole easter

Hello and a Happy Feaster!

How egg-citing (as my friend Sammie would say)… 4 days off! Woohoo!

What are you up to over Easter? Are you home or away? We’re home, tackling the Royal Easter Show with my2morrows {wish me luck} and very much looking forward to the Easter bunny visiting tomorrow.

I hope whatever you’re doing, you find some time to eat some chocolate, enjoy your family time and of course take some time just for you. Go on… pour yourself a cuppa, find a comfy chair and enjoy some long weekend reading. Here’s some to get you started…

This feel good story of the week brought tears to the eyes. Blogging and social media for good! Thank you Queen Constance!

Typograpy is so fascinating. Check out these playful lettering alterations that transform ordinary words into clever illustrations.

I do love a bit of ink-spiration so here’s 17 tattoo ideas for parents wanting to celebrate their kids.

They say silence is golden. I loved this post – the magical art of shutting the f*ck up!

Here’s 10 things you should give up to be happy. #7 is a work in progress for me!

Not really the weekend for thinking about your sugar intake, but if you are so inclined… check out how many teaspoons of sugar are hidden in your favourite foods! And drinks! Scary!

I’ve never actually baked Hot Cross Buns but pass the butter… Erin has come through with the baked goods once again with these no knead hot cross buns!

And finally, if you’re not yet all chocolate-ted out yet….  the news that Universal Studio’s is opening a chocolate factory just like Willy Wonka’s will make your Easter!

Happy Easter

  1. I’ve never made hot cross buns either, but it hasnt stopped me consuming a whole bunch of them every Easter ;) a real live Willy Wonka factory?? Oh I so have to go there!! Happy Easter to you & your little bunnies, enjoy the show x

    1. Happy Easter to you too lovely. I’ve lost count of the number of hot cross buns I’ve consumed this weekend! Xx

  2. You should totally have a go at making your own Hot Cross Buns – I popped my HCB making cherry last year and once you’ve had home made ones, you won’t go back to buying them from the shops! Loved that 10 things you should give up post and the sugar infographic was a real eye opener. 2.5 teaspoons of sugar in a doughnut and 11 teaspoons in a Mars Bar. I think I should go on a Doughnut Diet! Hope you’re having an egg-cellent Feaster! Enjoy!

    1. I was surprised donuts didn’t have more teaspoons of sugar!! Next time I get my bake on I’ll try HCBs! Xx
