The Ultimate Rabbit Hole #47

ultimate rabbit hole

Hello lovely ones,

We made it to the week end! Yay. And guess what… there’s only 20 days until Christmas! Have you trimmed the tree and started your shopping yet? I’ve done most of ours, just a few stocking stuffers to go. And Hubby’s, he’s the hardest to buy for! Let me know if you have any hubby gift ideas?

Let’s jump right into this week’s links shall we…

If you are from South Australia you know all about Fruchocs. If not, you need to get to Coles and pick some up stat. Really, you do! Then, if you have any left… try this recipe.

And after you discover how awesome Fruchocs are, you might want to check out Krissy’s list of 8 healthy bloggers who have your back this Christmas.

Dr Sash know’s what’s what and here she talks about the importance of Imaginary play for Children.

If you have a 4-6 year old, Tash from Gift Grapevine has you sorted for Christmas with her gift guide.

At this time of year I think we could all do with some Micro Meditation.

And finally, if like me, you’re sick of saying yes to everything when you really want to say no, these tips from Chantelle may help.

How do you not over indulge at Christmas time? Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Are you a ‘yes’ person too?

  1. What a cute little bunny! I agree that husband’s are the hardest to buy for. I normally try to get him a new outfit for Christmas day, some bouquet beers, and undies {cause some how he always needs them}. I’m also thinking about some camping gear this year.

  2. I’m pretty organised this year, just one or two presents to go, it’s the wrapping I always put off though so I should get started on that soon so I’m not trying to do it all Christmas Eve. I’m loving Tash’s gift guides & have discovered some awesome present ideas I’m adding to my list :) as for hubby mine is hard to buy for too. Apart from the usual gifts this year I got him a beer advent calendar to enjoy throughout the lead up to Christmas.. I just told him on dec 1st this was one of Christmas presents but he had to open it early. There is even a beer for Christmas Day to enjoy & you can get it in a cider pack too. Maybe something to consider for next year if your hubby enjoys a drink. The company I ordered from is called BoozeBud. Thought it was a bit different & fun :)

  3. I am nowhere near organised this year . I am still trying to decide what to by hubby too . I love to buy him experience gifts but his work roster makes it hard to plan. I’m off to check out tashs gift list guide and do the rest of my Christmas shopping online .

    1. Experiences make fab gifts Jules! An opportunity to create more precious memories! Good luck with finding something for hubby! xx

  4. Tash’s gift guides are great :) I have managed to buy a couple of things inspired by her lists. I have 2 more people to buy for and then I am done :) yaye! Going to wrap all our presents next week, while my daughter is at school. She finishes next Friday so need to get them done before she starts hunting through the wardrobes and sees what we got her. Have a great weekend Shannon

    1. oh yes the wrapping is quite a job isnt it Charlene. I always leave it so late too. Must get onto that. Thanks for the reminder.
Have a fab week ahead lovely xx

  5. Our tree is up, I have half completed the Christmas shopping and surprisingly have done Hubby’s – the complete set of Seinfeld.
Now it’s onto the baking, my next stop after having a coffee and reading a few of my fellow blogger posts.

    1. Oh wow, I bet her will love that pressie. Such a good one… and one you can enjoy too! Bonus! Hope you had a fab wkend Sally! xx

  6. Thank you for linking up my gift guide Shannon – so lovely of you! I’ve done all my online orders and smashed out most of the rest of my list at the shops today (it was insanely busy out there). I’m recovering by collapsing into a large G&T :)

  7. Oh my goodness! Only 20 days! Eeep! I still have to buy my hubster something too, he really is the most difficult person in the world to buy gifts for! Love the micro meditation and I’m perfecting the art of saying no! Hope you had an ace weekend xx
